We bake before dawn and open the doors at seven. Whatever is on the counter is what came out of the oven that morning.
COOPPAO FERNAO DIAS is a small neighborhood bakery that opened in early 2026. We bake breads and pastries by hand each morning, brew coffee at the bar through the day, and put together a short lunch menu of sandwiches and light plates from the same counter.
The idea is straightforward. Small batches, honest ingredients, and enough kinds of bread on the shelf that most people find something they want to take home. Everything is made the day it is sold. If a loaf sells out by three in the afternoon, that is how a small bakery is supposed to work.
The doors are open from Tuesday to Sunday. Walk in for a loaf on the way home, sit down with a coffee and a pastry, or ask us to hold a cake for a weekend order.
Six sections, all made or brewed in-house.
Sourdough boules, country loaves, whole-grain, seeded, and a soft sandwich bread. Baked in small batches from the early morning through mid-day.
Butter croissants, almond croissants, pain au chocolat, danishes, and a rotating short list of sweet buns. Out of the oven by seven, gone by afternoon.
Espresso, cappuccino, latte, filter drip, and a short tea list at the bar. Beans from a small roaster, ground per cup.
A lunch counter of sandwiches on our own bread, plus soups and a few light plates. Grab-and-go or eat in at the bar.
Layer cakes, tarts, and celebration bakes made to order for birthdays and small gatherings. Please give us a couple of days.
A short list of small-batch pastries and larger sourdough loaves baked only on Saturdays and Sundays, while stock lasts.
Everything is baked in small batches, several times a day for the fastest movers. Nothing is baked in bulk to sit on the shelf.
We use flour from a small mill, along with a house sourdough starter we have kept alive since the doors opened.
Bread is shaped by hand. Coffee is brewed per cup. Sandwiches are made when you order them, not in advance.
What is not sold by the end of the day goes to a local shelter. The counter starts empty the next morning.
